Sierra Schmitt is Partner, Chief Marketing Officer, and Interior Design Director at S-Squared, where she leads the interiors practice and guides the firm’s marketing and brand strategy. Since joining in 2018, Sierra has been instrumental in shaping S-Squared’s holistic approach — uniting architecture, interiors, landscape, and furnishings to create not only a seamless client experience but also a harmonious and united design both inside and out.
She is a graduate of Bellevue College with a BAA in Interior Design. Sierra was trained by both practicing architects and designers, an early influence that cemented her belief in the power of collaboration across disciplines. She champions an integrative design philosophy that blurs the lines between architecture and interiors, balances function with beauty, and results in homes that feel deeply personal and enduring.
A Carmel Valley native, Sierra entered the field of interior design immediately after high school, and has established a reputation for creative and cohesive interior architecture. Sierra's professional demeanor and positivity promotes collaboration, strengthens client relationships, and supports the development of thoughtful, holistic designs perfectly suited to the California lifestyle. She regards design as an inherently personal process, and is committed to creating spaces that not only reflect her clients’ identities but also elevate their daily living experiences.
Outside of work, Sierra enjoys antiquing, tinkering with small home projects, and chasing her daughter around local parks with her husband and their dog, Maeby.
