John Hanneman is a highly experienced Project Manager and Landscape Designer with over 25 years in residential design and build. A native of Los Altos, California, John's early aptitude for drawing and geometry naturally led him to explore creative fields. He initially pursued Architecture in college before shifting to fine arts, where he found profound inspiration in his art classes. Seeking to apply his artistic passion to a practical career, John enrolled in the Landscape Architecture department at Cal Poly SLO, earning his Bachelor of Science.
John approaches his landscape designs with great care and attention to detail. He believes that lines and forms create balance, fostering peace and a sense of relaxation. He considers exterior spaces to be extensions of the interior, promoting harmony between the two. As an artist, John is interested in designing extraordinary landscapes that offer the user a special experience.
In his free time, John enjoys writing and playing music, gardening, and surfing with his family. He also loves cooking and sharing meals with family and friends. One of John's favorite places to visit is Italy, where he and his family frequently travel to visit family living abroad.
