You can expect the design and permitting process to take around 6-8 months. Modular/prefab construction will take an additional 12 months, not including landscape installation.
Yes, many of our projects have been homes on challenging hillside lots with difficult access. We have years of practical experience designing for improved firefighter access, fire-resilient exterior envelopes and landscape plans, and fire suppression systems that exceed building code standards.
Modular/prefabricated construction is an inherently “green” process because of the reduction in construction waste and improved recycling that takes place at the factory when compared to site-built homes. Your home’s carbon footprint is greatly reduced through fewer vehicle trips to the job site.
