As S-Squared continues to evolve, we are becoming a more focused studio—taking on fewer projects, investing more deeply in each one, and organizing our team around where each person's expertise creates the greatest value.
This is not a retreat from our ambitions. It is a refinement of them.
We believe our best work comes from projects that embrace our holistic approach, bringing architecture, interior design, and landscape together from the outset. By increasingly focusing on larger, more comprehensive projects that engage all three services, we can create more cohesive, thoughtful homes while providing the level of attention and collaboration that defines S-Squared.
That does not mean every future project must include all three services, or that smaller opportunities are automatically outside our focus. Overall fit remains important.
Central to this evolution is our Design (Holistic) Team, a focused cross-disciplinary group that provides partner and senior-level direction across architecture, interiors, and landscape. Our Architecture, Interiors, and Landscape teams then carry that shared vision forward within their respective disciplines, supported by ongoing design studies, key reviews, and quality-control oversight.
As projects move beyond design, our dedicated Permit & Bidding Team provides specialized expertise in Planning and Building approvals, technical and consultant coordination, agency follow-up, and bidding. The Design (Holistic) and discipline teams remain connected so that each transition feels coordinated and the original design intent is protected.
Together, these teams allow us to provide greater continuity, clearer accountability, and the right expertise at the right time.
As our team structure evolves, we are also placing greater emphasis on shared project knowledge and continuity across each phase of the work. Clients benefit from the combined experience of a coordinated team, supported by senior oversight, rather than having the success of a project depend on any one person's availability or individual knowledge.
